Ya I thought that was a little high. The Nittos Trail Grapplers M/Ts are $1830.
So im still looking.
I saw a Chevy 2500 towing a 4 door car driving on the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS tires, the rears where getting bald but they weren't bulging out.
I didnt know you can install a tow truck hook on a single rear wheel truck?
Also I noticed that the tire weight varies...
Toyo Open Country M/T 35x1250x18E 81 LBS
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO 325/65/18E 70LBS
Goodyear DuraTracs 325/65/18E 64 LBS
Also I was reading "dont know if this is true" but some people are getting 5mpgs less with the Toyo Open County M/Ts...is that because of the weight?
I know that I will lose mpgs, but 5 mpgs less that seems high?
How much less MPGs is everyone getting with their tires?
Losing mpg's is just the sacrifice, it will not get the same mileage as a tire of the same size made only for highway driving. But lots of the time when people go to a MT they upsize and that hurts the mpg as well as the tread pattern
I had the nitto terra grapplers on another truck and liked them pretty well, they are the same as the toyo at's so I couldn't think they would be a bad tire.
