If you remove the steering wheel, dash clamp, unplug the wires, the column will pull right off, leaving the shaft. Remove the old gasket, install the new gasket, reinstall the column, clamps, steering wheel and done.
There might be a few more steps if you're dealing with column shift but it's still a pretty easy job.
