429/460 headers

It works like this, there were no 429/460s ever installed in 61-66 Ford trucks, therefore there will be no listings for them. Trial & error may be the only way or go with custom built.

My dad put a 429 in his 65 and used headers for the 73-79 trucks with the 460 but I don't remember what brand they are. They fit fine but he did have to put a small 1/4 inch or so notch on the right frame for clearance on one tube.

If your still looking, L&L and Mad Dog makes those headers for the 429/460 swap into highboy trucks.. They can be found on broncograveyard's website.

The only issue you are going to run into is that you need a cobra jet exhaust flange which is usually a custom header, Stan from Stan's Headers is highly regarded when it comes to custom headers, here is the link to his site.

Or you could just build your own, give Carl @ carsbycarl a call he can get you a kit to build them.
