My backup sensor system displayed check backup sensor. On the display the check mark wasn't in the box so tried putting it there but didn't work. So put the check in the off, then tried again, no luck. Next time when I turned it off the box was checked but then got the message again. So the backup sensor isn't working. I rely on that since such a beast to back up. Love the camera and system.
This happened once before (Truck is 27months old) and it needed a new backup sensor after about 1 year but it was under warranty at the time. This time it won't be covered by warranty though so I am wondering how much this might cost me? And I was wonder since this has happened twice in just over two years that maybe others are having the same issues and a defective part is involved?
