Backup sensor sys. not working
I have an 02 350 7.3 crew short, with 120 k miles, and the back up sensors stopped working on me, it just turns itself off automaticaly. Has any one had this happen to them?

Had the same problem and took it back to the dealer for warranty repair. They found one bad sensor in the bumper. According to the manual, it takes special equipment to diagnose the system. I don't know if testing the sensors with an ohm meter will tell which one is bad. I guess you could buy one sensor and rotate it through until it starts working again. If two are bad, it may be a problem.
