Jerking motion when shifting or applying gas
So this 1996 F250 5.8l has a problem with jerking back and forth when applying to much gas or sometimes very shortly after shifting. i was told it could be a possible EGR valve... does anyone think it could be something else??

Definately check for codes. On my 94 it would buck sometimes and after getting some lean codes I checked the fuel pressure and found a failing fuel pump that had low pressure. I replaced the pump and the electrical connector to the tank since the connector had discolored contacts.
