Under body rock lighting
I just picked up a 10 head led rock light kit for my 2012 f-150 and I wanted to make it when the doors are opened they light up the underside of the truck. Can anyone shed some light on how to do this.

Where would i tap in at, because the dome light fuse is hot all the time so the rock lights will stay on. I could tap it into the bed lights on the 3rd brakelight, but im not sure where to tap into it. I was thinking of taping into the same wires that you would to put power running boards on the truck. Any ideas?

There are 2 different wires that power the dome lights I think. One that is hot all the time for the dome light switch and one that is only hot for the courtesy lights. For when you open a door or unlock the truck. Or you could tap into the puddle lamps under the mirrors of you have those.
