Running Board Lights

Anyone ever wired aftermarket running boards on a 02 explorer? I just ordered some and was wondering where I can power from for the lights?

My guess would be to tap the wire for the switch that illuminates your interior lights when the doors are opened. That way when you use you clicker, or open your doors, the boards will light.

As stated how do you want them to work as marker lights or conveince lights??????

if its marker lights tag into the brown wire going
to side markerlights already.

I want the boards to light up just as the lights under the mirrors light up, when the door is opened or the key fob is used. Where is this brown wire you are talking about? I was trying not to tear into the doors or the door jam wiring, figuring the wire must be under the hood or body somewhere.
