2006 heater question
I have a 2006 F250 that I have a question on. Because it is now cold I have been using the heater and defroster but noticed that when I run the system on "recirculate" it will cut back to fresh air after a certain number of minutes? I thought it was a fluke the other day, but it continues to happen. Seems like 10 or so minutes and then it drops the recirculate for fresh air. Is this normal? I have no problems, it never changes settings (stays on vent or heater or defroster or mixture) so I dont think I have a vac problem. Just drives me crazy when it seems to change on its own.

Well I was out today and tested and the EACT does reset
the air recalculation after you have X amount of time pass.
I also know that if you turn the key off and come back and restart
it will reset the recalculation back to outside air.
I had never even thought about that happening. So I learned
some thing new.
