I later found out apparently the end of the ipr does move for installation, so this isn't to big of a deal luckily. Still no interest in pulling my intake manifold lol

I also noticed I cant pull up EBP, i dont see it in the list anywhere. I believe i have the inferred EBP strategy

Yep, just noticed you're an early 6.0 engine.

Without going back thru the pages, when it surges have you tried disconnecting the MAP sensor while it is surging?

I have not. MAP has the tube running from the intake manifold correct? Something i did notice while swapping out my air intake was the connector for the MAF sensor id say about 3/4 of the face of the connector was burnt...i checked out the MAF sensor itself and all the pins are fine

Yep, rubber line to sensor.

Disconnecting the MAP electrical connector sends the PCM into default. I would be curious if the surging stopped with it in default.

Also, its been doing something else for a while, which i have a really hard time describing and literally cannot catch on video because its so random... but its almost always going from drive to reverse, when i first press the pedal in reverse it romps a few times unless i give it more throttle or let off. you can feel the whole truck shake when it does this. id say about 75% of the time its when i go from drive to reverse, sometimes itll do it in drive taking off but not nearly as much.

That is weird.

Is that cold, hot or totally random on temps?

Maybe EGR?
Still have the throttle valve?

Thats totally random temps, sometimes itll do it switching to reverse to back out of my driveway after a cold start, other times itll do it after driving 25 minutes and backing into a parking space. its noticeable enough that some friends at school usually ask me about it

And yet another thing that may be related is since its cold now and goes into high idle to warm up, when i hit the brake to switch into gear and the idle drops back down, it doesnt drop back down very smoothly. Rough idle for a few seconds after leaving high idle

I dont have an egr cooler or valve, and its fully turned off in my tune. Also it doesnt do the romp thing in stock as far as i know, but it does it in 3 different tunes, from 3 different tuners.

By throttle valve do you mean the thing in the intake elbow? If so, then no, its gone and replaced with a newer style intake elbow

Interesting indeed. Would be fun to watch what AE is seeing during those different scenarios.

There is a lot of stuff going on with a missing EGR valve, missing throttle plate, burned MAF connector, inferred EBP, custom tunes... LOL
