Haha don't worry about it. I appreciate the input. We did put a new icp sensor and harness in, and I don't see any oil on it yet. The psi seems to read fine but I've yet to check the voltage

Ill add another piece to the puzzle (that hopefully doesnt come back)

Drove 25 mins to school, no surging or running weird or anything, and then it sat for 2 hours. Came back out, waited for GP light to go off, and started to crank...and crank...and crank...for like 10-15 seconds before i gave up. Turned key off, back on and then it fired right up. Didnt happen to catch the ICP value. Although i stopped 10 minutes after driving to get a drink and then it started up quick and ICP was 1400psi starting

i have not done that yet, mostly because its way back there. its such an intermittent surge is it going to run great if i unplug it, even if its not surging? it seems to idle/run fine otherwise, just a random surge

i did have an ICP code a while ago, that hasnt come back. P2287

just checked to see if i had any new codes, just P0687, which i had the other day and apparently hasnt gone away

From my notes:

P2287 ICP Injector Control Pressure Sensor Circuit Intermittent ICP signal is intermittent

I don't have P0687, maybe it was P0678

P0678 GPCM Cylinder 8 Glow Plug Circuit Open circuit, short to ground, short to voltage, glow plug

It is just a glow plug code and should not cause the problem you are having.

Ya I dont see 1 GP causing this

I think Cheezits Right on the Money with ICP or ICP Wiring issue or Chaff

The P2287 is more likely it and maybe the DTC hasnt came back since its not Failing Every drive cycle

Post ICPV at KOEO and Make shure to leave it on the gauge so you can check ICPV next time it acts up

Did it again today. Had driven it upto temp about 30 mins, came home and parked and went out about an hour later. But i just let it crank to see what happened, probably 10-15 seconds and then it started and ran fine. Going out to program ICP voltage into scangauge now

Also when it started, i felt a big thump in the floor boards?
