I just wanted to share this with you guys to avoid not having to go to the dealership if you encounter the same thing. If it wont take any DEF smack it around a little bit
I guess I need to drive MORE rough New Mexico roads to make sure that the DEF tank and appurtenances get some vibration to keep things loosed up. I haven't had a problem with this phenomena yet. Seriously, thank you for posting this information. What do Chrystal's buddies say about this? Anyone know?

Right... that is the way it went the first 2 times I filled it. Both times I ran it down pretty low like 100 or less till E. It seemed to hold around the 4.5 mark both times. but not this time. If it does it again guess it will need to go back to the steelership. Less than 14k on the Odometer right now.

Glad I saved a few folks from going to the dealer

I haven't had this problem again since this happened last year but wanted to share more of the back story.
I was in CO the week prior with <-0*F temps BUT I had been home and in above freezing temps and up to 80*F. I'm still guessing I overfilled the tank before we left and it froze something up in the filler neck.

Hmmmm been pretty cold here and I am sure I overfilled both times I filled. Cause the first two times i was using the bottle before I knew about the truck stop. I could not get 5 gallons in either time, but sure tried prolly 4-4.5 max.. but if it happens again it is going back to the steeler. but I only have 14k on since I bought it last of Oct.
