Carberator/Balancer issues...HELP!?
I have an 84 E150 with an 81 302 5.0 from an F-150 under the hood. This project has been a pricey headache from the start. I am now trying to select the correct/economically sensitive/performance enhancing Edelbrock or Holley carb. As this rig is equipped with O/D, I've learned it requires a Lokar throttle cable bracket, but does it require an Electric or Manual choke? I am looking at an Edelbrock 600 CFM. Any and all help is appreciated...thanx.

That's determined by which carb you install. If you install one with an electric choke then you don't need a mechanical choke. If you install one with a mechanical choke you will need to install a cable so you can control the choke from inside the van.
