good morning/afternoon guys.hope all is enjoying the weekend.
i should have my truck back in a couple days.all ready to go again and far better than she left the plant by another large amount!
good morning Mainers,friends and neighbors.
raining and washing all that white stuff away.....oh boo hoo!
tapping tree's and getting ready for fishing season,Tom........now that's living!
well my truck got set back a bit.he;s got the trans all built and ready to go in.supposed to be ready towards the end of the day or early tomorrow morning.so she's almost back in action.pretty quick turnaround either way.just in time as work starts picking up for the season.
she's all upgraded and back home thanks to Dave @ Absolute transmission in Brewer!
overall he said the trans was still in really decent shape.the clutch packs hardly had any ware at all.just a bushing failed that caused some hard part failures.of course when he was in there he addressed the oem weaknesses too and made her nice and rugged, but said those parts didn't look bad at all yet either.
goes to show ya the 20-30k flushes and watching her temp was paying off.....but just couldn't do anything about a failing bushing.thems' the brakes lol.she's all set again now anyway with new discs and with guts replaced and upgraded before she can fail again anytime soon.
