thermostat question

I have a 96 f350 4x4 5spd 460 truck. It has a radiator leak that I was going to try to get repaired today and while it is out and drained, I was going to put in new antifreeze and a new thermostat, maybe even a water pump. What do you guys recommend for a thermostat? Anything special or will the local NAPA be fine? What temp?

Just dont do what i just did, the bolts sheered off when i removed the thermostat housing. Im currently doing these projects on my f150 95. I bought the jegs super duty water pump and its supposed to pump faster with better bearing's, i got new radiator and all new hoses. Anyway hopefully itll workout for ya.
