H Pipe location?

H Pipe location?
Any ideas on where an H pipe would fit on a 2wd 79 250? I was thinking having the pipe go under the trans crossmember, but don't know how well that will work. Any ideas?

You are supposed the apply spray paint to the head pipes then drive her hard for awhile, it should be evident on the paint where your hottest spots are in the headpipes, then your x over should be located closest to them, then in theory, equalizing the highest pressure points.

Also, same diameter tubing and and maintain a perpendicular relationship to the headpipes ( H pattern) if you try to hit the hotspots perfectly with an angled pipe, you will be favoring one bank. Just get it close as possible.

I know how H and X pipes work.
Just to be clear, I'm not talking about headers. I'm talking about h pipes. I figured the closest I could get to the engine (what you're supposed to do with h pipes) is under the trans cross member

The want the x or h pipe to be in the highest pressure location on the headpipe. This is where they are the most efficient. But this doesnt always occur in the same spot side to side. .... i always overexplain myself, sorry
