new old guy

got this 88 ,c-6, 4.11's ,banks, to pull toys with ( hopefully)
apparently pics to follow

in as much as it has been neglected for years, Momma wants to travel some .
Me,,, was a track mech in army 30+ years ago, gen contractor by trade. Hold a current c.d.l. so I may try to pull doubles with it????
retired in 08, this is my first idi, drove a stroke for a couple yrs during a stint at an engineering co building weed fields for vintners here in cal.
she runs fine so far aint pulled nothing yet, still pulling junk off this thing ( like the 20' of trailer wiring added plus the 2' of factory harness that was left over after I rewired the bumper)going to re seal the inj. lines and go for the i.p. and bump it up some... SO I have tried to search out the basic newbie questions,,, is there a link or spot here to go for the basic stuff??
have seen the return line and stickies.
know about the basics of p.m. just lookin to get into the free up some # feet stuff. I'm not inna hurry but do love torque, any suggested reading?
THANX in advance cb

Wow, I've never seen one of those screen mutilated like that. Obviously he should have replaced it when it was rebuilt. Even just leaving it off would have been better...

I hate fouling objects and debris.......my grandkids are referred to as the wreckin crew
the guy from
banks that designed the system nearly doomed the screen as you pull the old square pressure chamber off.its a good idea.
I've seen matched injectors,big i.p.,air in/out..
anything else outside the crankcase as far as performance goes?
Thanx cb
