split rim with no split

i have a 20" 5 hole budd wheel that is 2 piece but the ring thats normally split is not. does anyone have info on how to disassemble? its pretty rusty, and may not be worth the trouble, but would keep me from having to find another one.

The ring is round on the outer perimeter, but sort of oval on the inner diameter. You need to rotate it to the narrow part and get it started over the flange. You'll see. It has a place where it comes off......

It's called a Firestone "RH" in all likelihood. Like Gary said there are two indented areas on the inner lip that must be squeezed over and past the rim to remove or install it. Not always an easy thing to do, don't put too much pressure on the tire iron because if you bend it you are SOL, and please be sure there is no air in the tire when you begin. Here's pictures of a similar ring. Stu

thanks for the answers, the tire was put on, so there must be a way to remove. the pic looks like what i have, minus lots of rust. i think a split would have made it more simple, but ill give it a go. some folks i asked in my area had no idea what i was talking about. one thought i may have a two piece like a combat rim that bolts together in the middle.
thanks again,
garthr

But they DON'T call these widow makers. These are the plain "RH", not the "RH-5°". These are lock ring style with the general consensus, to my view, being that they are safe to use. Safe, that is, with appropriate precaution and use of a cage while inflating, etc. I've quizzed quite a few shops about wheel service and have not had one decline to work on these, which can't be said for the "RH-5°".
