Fuel filter light
Hey. Gotta 89 Ford 4x4 diesel. Had this truck almost 15 years. A few weeks ago comin home from work, the "fuel filter" light in the dash started lighting up the more throttle I gave her. I've never seen this light before ever. She was due for a service, so I did my routine, changed the filter like always, light went away.... Till tonight. I run my fuel outta my nurse tank, which is pumped to the engine by an electric fuel pump. Been that way for a few years. I'm wondering if the filter on the pump is plugging up, causing the light to come on due to lack of fuel to the water fuel seperator. I haven't changed that little filter on the pump yet. Could this be the problem?? Thanks
