D as in Dropping in!! Friday after work..gonna head up to the shop and put the sixer in the 68! Since the front end is disassembled..itll just literally be lining up the tranny and dropping the engine in! After that...(saturday) I'll be getting the clutch pedal hooked back in, hopefully getting the radiator flushed and mounted to the core support...doing the dsII wiring and getting a battery. Oh..and when the front is back together...the rad hoses and some black engine bay paint.
I'm excited..nervous..and perplexed.
Excited cuz I spent a lot time rebuilding the thing..ready to get it in!
Nervous cuz I don't wanna mess anything up on installation or break in
And perplexed cuz I don't know what next project to start on the truck with haha
Sounds good. Looking forward to hearing of your success! You've spent this much time and patience getting here. Keep taking the same time and patience to be sure everything is ready to go before you fire it up.
I grew up in Missouri; what part are you from? I used to live in the lead belt (southeast) area but I've got family in the southwest and a lot of friends in the south central area around West Plains.
