How to identify BPD EGR cooler question

I had picked up an EGT cooler on Ebay so I can use it as a core.
It was only $25.00. The seller said it was remove for a delete
install. So I though so long as I stay under $50.00 total I would get
it. Well it got here today and I got it home opened the package and
to my surprise I look in the ports and see this

So I am thinking that I got the better deal. I need to test it for a leak.
What do you guys think?

I have installed ONE BPD EGR cooler so far. And I can tell you there is ZERO change in the way the engine performs from changing it out from the factory EGR cooler. By change I mean in terms of EGR performance.

Well I did tune my EGR valve to an off state
with the SCT and the SRL tunes. I just wanted
to make sure that it would not pop on me some time.

Is there a quick test to make sure it's not leaking?

I really should clean it and take new photos. There is a number stamped
on the center section of it and that may be the give away as to who made it.
If it's not BPD who else makes that style of cooler?

There are six big round tubes in the original picture posted. That's a dead giveaway that it's not the factory OEM EGR cooler.

Looks like the Sinister Cooler. BPD has the bigger tubes.

Sean - I assume that is a square cooler you bought? I can't really tell from your pic.

Yes it's square

Better shot of inside. It has 6 equally spaced tubes

The number on the side was
1844085C7
08252 1836
The only other markings were the casting numbers on the ends
and I am guessing that everyone is reusing the Ford/Navistar units.
So that won't tell me anything. On the size of the tube a .22cal
brush slips in a has room the 9mm brush fit in like it was in a
barrel and I did not want to get that stuck. I tool my hole gauge
set and micrometer and found the tube to be about 0.270" ID.
