Quick question abut boost psi on the powerstrokes. When I first start my truck my boost gauge on my edge cts reads 1 to 2 psi then drops to 0. I take off on the road and driving about 30 mph on my dirt road it says 7 psi then I hit the interstate and drive 75 mph and it will read 10 - 11 psi then it will slowly drop. The other day I was driving into the wind on I-25 here in northern Colorado and I noticed my boost was at 18 psi. Are these reading normal? I have a stock 05 f250 with only a coolant filter setup.
After reading all the boost threads on here I am thinking that I might have a leak or my turbo is sticking? What you guys thinking?
Mine acts about like yours. 18 psi just because of wind sounds high, but depends on the wind I guess. I see max boost of 28 psi, this is on my dash gauge.
Mine is about the same using an edge tuner for boost readings. I will get up to 30psi when I really harp on it but I might have some sticky vanes cause I feels like it takes awhile to build that.

30 on a stock motor is testing your headgaskets. Should be 28 max.
