Hi, I have a 2012 F250 with a center console in the cab. I'm wanting to run a cable from my license plate camera (hooking up my travel trailer) up into the inside of the console. How do I get the cable from under the cab up into the console? Thanks
I would run the cable along your driver side frame rail up to your floor board under the pedals. There is a grommet you can run the wire through. From the top side you can pop off the door sill and get the wire from under the carpet through that grommet. Then you can work the wire over to the counsel under the carpet (which may be time consuming), or you could run it right up next to the seatbelt under the driver seat to the counsel. You would only see about 2 inches of wire and it would blend in next to your seatbelt.
while your under the truck maybe you could check and see if there is a grommet closer to the counsel. I have used the one by the pedals for my CB antenna wire, but it seems like there should be one closer to the counsel too.
