rear window defrost not working

rear window defrost not working

rear window defrost is not working. button on dash light's up but times out without melting ice and snow. Tried the search not finding anything.
I did look for a blown fuse but cant seam to find one for rear defrost.
So here I am looking for help.

I'm not 100 percent sure but I think there's a wire plugs in somewhere on the rear glass. Check that maybe

Thanks I need to get into the shop to get a better look at it.
Still you would think there would be a fuse and I have yet to find one.

Defroster is fuse 24

I don't know if they are labeled, if not it's the third fuse down in the far right side.

Fuse 31 is the "on" indicator light

Fuses under the dash and under the hood. Look at the owners manual. It must be on a fused circuit.

l did look in the owners manual. did not see a rear window heat labeled fuse like say the mirror heat fuse.
I think there was a rear defrost but did not know if that slot was for rear heat/ac.
As far a under the hood I must of missed that in the O.M.
Any way please keep the options coming as I am to leave to go up north for a month or so for work.

Is fuse 24 good?

Have you checked to see it you have power at the rear defroster?

I pulled 24 it's good.
X is a 05 fuse box looks dif then your 01.
don't have test light or meter right now.
was wishing it was just a fuse I can't find still looking a pulling.
