Electric Issue

I have a 04 Expy. Had an issue one day where my battery was dead and when in jumped it, I accidently put the cables on the wrong terminals. Now, my radio and power points throughout the vehicle do not have power. I checked the fuses and none were broken. Any fuses I don't know what that I should check or anything else I can do?

Did you check to see if the battery has any voltage? Then follow the power leads checking to see where it quits.
It could be you damaged your battery or primary cables.

I'm not sure if the 04 still uses them but if so...did you check the 175-amp main battery fuses under the cover next to the battery on the firewall?

Just to be clear, there isn't an issue with the battery, it is the radio and power points that are having issues

By power points I assume you mean "lighter" sockets? Are these and the radio the only problems you are having?

Yes, just issues with the radio and the sockets.

Okay, in that case those items have different fuses but share a common ground. The ground is G200 and is located in the front passenger kick panel area. This picture should help you find it.

Thank you for the picture. I am not the best electrician, once the ground is located, what do I do next?

Make sure it's a clean and tight connection to the body. If the problem persists after that, you'll have to start tracing that ground wire and look for a break in it.

Check the ground, no corrosion on the ground what-so-ever. Cleaned them anyway. Still no power, is there an in-line fuse anywhere for the radio I should check that would also affect the lighters?

Nope, the only fuses are in the fuse block. Have you checked to see if power exists at the fuses?
