Seafoam or Seafoaming

2010 F250 5.4.
Where is the best place to pour the seafoam in to clean the engine. Brake booster hose? I've seen them do this on earlier models but was wanting to know about the 2010 models.
Thanks guys!!

I was talking about the engine, not the fuel system. Seafoam's website shows how to do it this way, just wanting to make sure which vacuum line fed all cylinders.

I am a fan of Seafoam as a fuel stabilizer, for actually "cleaning the engine", especially on a 2010, it is a total waste. Keep your oil changes around 5K miles and it will be nice and "clean".

Has anyone done this lately?(what he does in the video)
I have a 2007 F250 5.4 3V with 183000 on it and I am thinking about doing this and an engine flush this weekend. Any input?
It also has a "tick" so I am trying to get rid of that.

I've been a big fan of SeaFoam for years, used it in every vehicle I've owned for the last ten years. Both in the tank every four months or so, and also through the brake booster hose before I do tune ups, as I've found the plugs can get really gunked up in carbon during the process. Some people seem to just do the BBH treatment and the plugs are just fine but I tend to take more precautions and I just enjoy doing the tuneups. Anyways, I've had some fantastic results with this treatment and as I work in an auto parts store I am always recommending this to my customers who nearly always report back how much they loved the results.

Ok I have a question now, run seafoam what about the berrymans injector cleaner. If I run the seafoam in the fuel take it cleans injectors to and carbon in the engine? Is this correct and how do the two brands compare. I would like to run some engine cleaner thru my truck also.

I've done the Seafoam through a vacuum port on a 1992 5.0 and didn't see a difference...however, I got a professional injection cleaning and it made big difference.

Who, how, where, how much, etc etc etc?

I've seen a few videos on using pro level injector systems by Snap On etc and have wondered if such an investment would be wise for the average DIY.

I'm sure after a certain mileage a thorough injector cleaning couldn't hurt at all----just wondering how to go about it. I do use Chevron Techron Concentrate about every 3K miles as recommended but just begin that on a regular basis in my '03 E250 with 5.4, have about 6K miles on it since new-to-me.

I just run a bottle in the gas tank at every oil change. Today's fuels have a decent amount of detergent in them already, so much more than that is a waste in my eyes.

Ok I was looking at the berrymans the other day and they have to different ones. One says carb/injector cleaner is about 4 bucks a can then there is total fuel system cleaner and its 8 bucks a can what is the difference?

Seafoam is a "Highly Corrosive" product as stated on the label and is clearly spelled out in the MSDS....something I would not have any desire to expose to fuel injectors, sensors (including O2) & hoses of any type. There are those that will state "Used it for years & no problem", and very true, but it simply violates every basic OEM specified maintenance/repair procedure & law of chemistry in the books.....

1. no mfg including domestic & imports (including BMW, MB, Porsche) advises using any product like this (or similar) for any service work on a fuel injected system. Documented damage goes back decades.

2. While there is no recommend service for EFI systems - specific to injectors, BG products does make a system/products that is used my many dealers & EFI specific shops. I like & use their throttle body cleaner, but I typically remove the TBS before application
