Holding the traction button down
So pressing it on and off turns "traction control" on and off. But holding it down turns it off more???

Holding it down for 5 seconds will disable traction control but not stability control, I have also read that it resets once the truck is at 35 mph.

Yes, no, I don't know. The owners manual confuses me more than it helps. I do know I don't like the engine derating and brakes being applied so I can get stuck. At least on my big truck, I can turn the crap off, ALL of it!!

I checked the manual and everything is fully described. You also need patients reading it.

LOL, ya beat me to it!! I read it a few times, and tried tying it together with the trailer antisway thing. If I was 15 or so, I'd likely understand all the acronyms and the rest of it. Hey!!! That's it, maybe my 5 year olde grandson can explain it!! Oh, and I don't own a DVDRstuv, or a GPS either!! LOL

Really helps offroad or when you might need the extra wheel spin.

In addition to off roading ...
allows acceleration wheel spin WITHOUT retarding timing. *¼mile lap advantage.
