So who's gonna throw one on and rack up some miles? It's cheap, apparently made in US, if it ends up being semi reliable... win win.

Got mine today, and yes, pics. Hopefully pics, I never used this photo sharing service before.

Fuel Pump 1 Fuel Pump 2

So the pump. There are no markings on it except the "+" and "-" for the terminals. The terminal insulation looks a little cheap. I pulled one of the caps off and smelled oil, possibly fuel, so maybe it has been tested. I applied power and it made the usual sounds. Nothing obviously wrong with it. Not planning on installing, just a spare.

Jason. You know people running this (ebay) pump?
It looks like a Bosch clone, definitely not an Airtex.

For those who have gotten the ebay pump, does it say made in USA and what are the pressure ratings?

Yes, specifically from this vendor.

It holds 75psi on WVO. (so far anyway!!! - I have asked for failure reports and anxious how warranty is handled........)

NO. After inspecting my pump just now, nowhere does it say "made in USA", on the pump nor the paperwork. HOWEVER, read just below the "bolded" title print, here on ebay...

I know the seller is claiming made in usa, i am wondering if it can be verified with info on or with the pump.
Your first statement makes me less a believer that it is USA. (But i hope it is.)

Mine came today and it will be pushing WVO into the engine by Saturday. Anyone take a good look at this. It looks like the spade terminal is attached to a bolt. I'm not liking the spade terminals but am thinking about drilling and tapping for a screw to hold it.

Thats why i bought the pump. Was posted on a few threads i came across, how well it held up for that application. Then i started to think, damn, i dont have a FPR set-up in my wvo delivery.... But, it'll work perfect on d2 side if that pump hits the fan.

You can fix that! We use a Magnaflow FPR ($130) which also lets us do a 'looped return' back to the pump. By using TIH to the pump and from return back to just before the tank - we insure a steady supply of HOT oil to the pre-filter and pump, while drastically reducing the strain on the pump and providing enough heat that no FPHE, etc is needed. Besides, this set-up is less than 1/2 of a FASS or similar POS pump (which costs 3x one of these pumps to 'rebuild' and takes AT LEAST a week to get back - which ain't helping if ya gotta burn D2 to get home from somewhere ).

i think i got, one of those "pos" pumps, ur talking about, but a year bang'n with it, allz good here. With that, the pressures pre-set, so the need of a fpr wasnt in the equation. I do have however, and tooled with it some, is the greasecar FPR assy. Installed it, ( prior to replacing all my soft line to MUCH HIGHER psi rating), and worked well, but the regulator would "pop", dumping too much d2, til the wvo got hot enough to flip da switch. Switched the soft lines, and now, the pressure spikes are a thing of da past, as far as worrying about.

BTW, i'll have to show you pics, when idea is "created", the aluminum tube assy that runs up the downpipe area, that i welded 2-aluminum push-on fittings to it, gonna work bad-a$$.

The spikes are not an issue with the design we use...

Can't wait to see your creation!

Because of a "looped" system? Since mines' "deadheaded", you think that could be it or you think the split shots are the cause?

What worked REALLY well, with my set-up, also prior to beefier psi lines, was when after the fact, the FPR was practically a WOT setting..(wide open throttle ), i installed a fuel orifice, downstream at the "return" of the tank. Man that worked beautifully, to control the "dump" of the d2, but again, the purchase of fuel line was made, so when delivered, the orifice hit the shelf...

I used the .063

McMaster-Carr

edit*** spikes i see is run'n d2, on wvo side at pressure reading...manifold in valley where readings at. No spikes occur, when run'n wvo
