DC Power Alt 185A
Looking to upgrade to DC's 185 amp alt, Stock one is still workin (knock on wood), truck has ~99,000 mi on it so its probly gona go sometime. I thought I read a thread a while back an somebody was saying they were waiting for theirs for over a month?? Is this still the case?? Or I can get a 135 amp from local parts store, alot cheaper, and can have it next day. Only a small upgrade, but will this be enough to run everything?? I have a Boss snowplow, everything else stock( no high power radio, amps, like that).

I just got the 185 amp a couple weeks ago, took about three weeks to get it but they were dealing with the holiday rush also. If you are going to get one I would recommend the dc power. Yours is still working so even if it takes a couple weeks it's not like your truck is down while youre waiting. In the long run you'll be glad. Just my .02

I ordered one that got lost in the mail, then they sent it to my old address by accident due to me moving. I don't believe this is common but is rather frustrating and has cost me both batteries. Been since Oct 21 2012
