Have some 10'' Treo's that been collecting dust in the garage. Has anyone put subs in there 08 cc. Sounds like the only was is to rasie the back seat 2'' to get a full size sub in there.
i never seen the box but was looking at a truck from a dealer and they said it had subs behind the rear seat like where the stock sub is. so possibly depending on how deep the sub mounts are you could fit em there? do you have a stock sub? i wouldn't mind adding a little more bass to mine...
No stock sub. Haven't heard terrible things or great things about those boxes mainly because you have to install low pro subs. Which have a decent price tag as well. I can get a box tomorrow for 200$ but I have to raise my back seats 1 3/4"
you should be able to fit an aftermarket sub in the stock location with a custom or modified oem box. I wouldn't think you'd have to raise the rear seat.
I've taken that into consideration bubbasz but I can't stand a factory stereo. Besides 10's aren't really big boy subs just a little extra bass. I'll look into that mystic thx.
It's just noise, the only time I pay attention to the radio is when Pink Floyd is playing and I can remember my younger days when I had a reason not to remember.
Replace head unit. Need Bluetooth can't stand commercial radio. Having a hard time trying to find a video or something to show me how to get the dash apart. Has to be something somewhere.
Ok so the treos are out. Any opinion on which of the shallow subs are best. Crunchfeild recommend MTX or Fosgate. Been seeing a lot of pioneer though. Buying speakers is like buying tires. Pain in the ***.
Took out my treos this weekend there box was 5.25"
Looks like the box that goes behind the seat will work after all. Might have slight modification to box and seat nothing to crazy. All though all the local shops say it won't work. Basically because they want 5 bills to build me a new one and can't believe I can get that box to my door for $150.00. And that's with $30 in shipping!
