smoke??!!?!?

Ok before i start im sorry if this offends anyone.. it makes me mad that all of these cummins/ duramax guys think that their trucks are sooooo badass because they smoke.. so my question is there anything i can do to make my truck smoke alot? I dont want it very often just when they try and show off and roll coal.. i know it is bad for the truck and the bank since all it is is unburnt fuel. That is why i was wanting something that i have control of. I have heard of a "smoke switch" but was told they dont make one for the powerstroke I have a ts6 chip on my 99 7.3 any suggestions are greatly appreciated Again sorry if this offends anyone thanks for your input

You'd pretty much need a "pirate" tuner to write a tune for smoke. Those guys... I tell ya. They get all obnoxious, blast the truck and the wallet, **** off the neighbors and the law, then they poke at you because you're not an a55hole? I reflect back on a line from "The Avengers" - "Hulk... smash."

"Tune... smoke."

Is it possible to get my ts6 reprogrmed with the smoke tune? Or would i have to buy another tuner? I havr been looking for injectors/ lift pump but since im a broke college kid i dont have that much money to spend.. and yeah i do want to hulk smash them!!! "My truck has wayyy more hp cuz it smokes!" NOT!! Your just getting a lot of unburnt fuel! That's why i want to show them that they all do it.. and not see the dollars flying out the exhaust everytime i drive.. just once in a blue moon when they start their trash talking lol thanks

The first step is to have yourself sterilized.

Then you can put a wal mart bag around your 6637 filter and roll smoke till you burn down your truck.

Don't forget lots of stick on chrome to impress the rest if the trailer park.

that was pretty RUDE I would say. The guy came here with a question, and ya degrade him? Remind me not to call on you for help.

I say, let them waste their fuel. You are right in the fact, it is unburnt fuel. It has nothing to do with horsepower.

Well.....my DP F5 actually does have a SMOKE tune. Jody was forced to re-name it Aggressive to avoid problems from environmentalists. So....it can be done. I rarely ever use mine.

Yes... you can yank the chip and send it with what money you have to a pirate, and he can write you a smoke tune (with his one good eye) and send it back for install. I haven't found one of these guys in the phone book, so you will need to call around... asking if they have an a55hole tune.

I like the Wal*Mart bag idea. Plug up your intake and give it a rev... show them how worthless smoke is.

To explain our 'tude on tunes... we don't need or want the nasty reputation that grows from this behavior. We are also a courteous lot... hence the playful tone on this topic (so far). Many of us go to great pains and expense to avoid smoke.

It's far more impressive to blow past a Cummins or Duramax without smoking out 4 lanes of traffic.

Seriously, rolling smoke is annoying and old. Don't do it. Stick to having a clean running truck.

I guess I am one of those "enviornmentalist". Don't you just hate clean air.
Seriously, smoke is bs. No need for it, doesn't prove anything, just shows how cra**y it's running.

Well, you can either get an aggressive tune, they'll smoke a bit.

Or you can just tell these teenagers that there are three measurements of a truck's 'badassness': durability, reliability and capability. "Annoying everyone around them with pollution haze" is in no way, shape or form a metric for power or 'badass'.

Sounds like a great way to take a truck that's running well and turn it into a bunch of expensive problems. Might explain the popularity with Dodge buyers.

Go easy on him fellas, he did preface his post with an apology...

ahhh yesss these type of guys....

I know where your coming from... I have DPs 140aggressive/smoke tune... I don't use it much but when there's some a55hole who can't drive who pulls out infront of an 8000 pound lifted tank/truck because... They don't see it!!! They can eat my smoke till they choke, I don't know how many times I've had to swerve or stand on the brakes because of ignorant people...

Sorry... give'em a break... The video pretty much wraps up what and how we all feel about everyone else
