I just wanna add to this that I started out the day contemplating ordering a T500 from Justin @ DP Tuner.. so I go to do a little research and come across this posting. I started reading and got really indecisive as my truck is basically brand new its a 2002 7.3 with only 70k miles on it so I start thinking "oh man what if I send in my pump and end up getting a case off a beater that has some leaky problem" I almost stopped reading and started looking for another option.. but luckily I kept reading and saw how MR. Joey took care of this and I am dead set on ordering a T500 and really exited to do so.. I love when people stand behind their work and are not afraid to go above and beyond the call of duty for their customers. I own a machine shop and supply parts to the assembly lines of all the major auto manufacturers and whether im dealing with a billion doller corporation or a guy who comes in needing parts to an old carburetor remade I treat them the same and if I can do a little extra work to help someone out of a problem I will do that everytime no questions asked.. GLAD TO SEE OTHERS DOING THE SAME!!!!
One way to make sure you get your original good case is to send in your existing one for rebuilding into a T500. That's what I did after waiting 8 weeks with no service because Joey does not get many cores quick. I had a T500 using my old HPOP in 3 days - very fast work. Ordered through Clay, of course.
I have emailed back and forth with Joey when I was having issues that I thought were HPOP related. It turned out not to be my issue, but I ended up finding a T500 that had not been used from a guy and Joey is a great guy to deal with. Never more than 24 hours to get back to me. So I have that T500 now and would buy one again if I needed to after having dealt with him.
Dan, I just went with a known entity (had plenty of experience with Clay), and the price was the same. Actually, I dealt with both, since the mail-in form had me send the old unit directly to Joey. I would not hesitate on either path.

Freak, please contact Joey through his website. Joey is not a Supporting Vendor here and cannot answer direct sales questions.

That's what I did. Joey has middle men (dealers) since he is a one man show. See his post on page 1 (post #14). Went through Clay and couldn't be happier. Sent my pump in and got it back in 9 days.
I would rather support Clay and Joey for a beefy rebuild (at close to half the price) than fork over $850 to Ford for a reman OEM HPOP (which I've already done once).
