Have I been screwed
Just purchased a used MSD 8580 to go on my F250 460. The seller insisted that it was in good working order when he took it off his big block.
While cleaning up the unit, I noticed 2 of the prongs had broken off of the reluctor.
Will this have an affect on performance or do I just purchase an expensive paper weight

If you have a Dura Spark II Distributor, you should have just rebuilt it and got a nice box for it. But, yes, I would think you would have to replace the reluctor wheel before that dizzy could be used, so yeah its probably a paper weight for now...
