I got a open circuit code on #4. When I put a test light between the injector ground wire and the poss. on the battery. The light doesn't flash with the rpms, while the engine is running. Like the other injectors connectors do. This #4 connecter stays on. Ohms tested #4 its the same as #3, seems ok. But its not like #2, the ohm needle doesn't move. Now what can I try?
You need a noid light to check it properly.
Could be a bad wire in the harness or a bad injector driver in the ECM
I have had a couple of Mid 90's ECMs fail, but both of those stuck the injector wide open and dumped raw fuel thru the cylinder. One was a 94 4.6L Cougar and the other was a 94 Mustang 3.8L v6.
