I probably cant help tonight until later but text me if you need help.
Are you soddering the pipes together? If you are try putting balled up bread in the lines and push them in about an inch to soak up any water in the lines. It wont hurt anything, the bread will disinigrate quickly. I have all the PEX tools if you want to go that way. That is all I will ever do again after plumbing Nicole's bathroom. It is so easy.

I think I did. One union (new) was still seeping a bit for a while but all seems dry now (keeping fingers crossed).

I was thinking we could put it in my work truck which has no compression on #2. A 460 would be a welcome change from the 3.7 V6.

Nah, a big block would be fun though.
I am somewhat concerned about how long the shortblock is going to live with the blower on it.
1993.5 and up are roller blocks.
