They sure seem to be!
changing that part on my bmw, at DT auto? about an hour. If I had tried to do it on jackstands? probably still be sitting there. Cause I would have broken one of the exhaust manifold studs.

Oh yeah they are no doubt a time saver. When you don't have access to one though you make do with what ya got.
yup... or pay a shop. Since my back is starting to act up, paying Dave is becoming more and more likely. Or buying a lift, to make things easier.
Yep sometimes paying to get something done is just plain easier then trying to tackle it yourself and taking forever to do it or never get it done right.

I would love a car/truck lift would save a bunch if time ($$) and effort and easier on the body. Really gets old laying on your back, not as good leverage and hard on your neck bending up to see
