Yes, it does. Dismmantling isn't the problem. It isn't really worth anything. It's my Grandmother's but she seems to think it has some value. It hasn't been tuned in YEARS and has a broken key. The cost to move it and repair it would be probably about $500-$600 on the cheap side.
I'd just make sure you don't have some cousins that want it. Some stuff people have certain memories to, and makes it worth something to them. And I'd see if I could get a free quote to fix it. might be cheaper than you think.

I've already tried to give it away for free. Never got a single response or inquiry. It wouldn't be that much to fix it. It's the cost to move it out of the basement.
Good morning Suppertown, Lunchtown, Breakfasttown, Canada, and the rest of MN and Western WI!
Troy, stay level with, or above the piano.
Hey Eric! Piano is moved and no problems. Actually they had some dollies for pianos so that made it pretty easy actually.

Nope no steps except up into the trailer that was about a foot tall.

Hey guys, I hope everyone is having a good Saturday. I just got done doing some minor rear brake work and threw in a set of new coil over shocks in the back of my dad's van.
Just got home from a daddy/daughter dance at the school. Fortunately I didn't have enough dancing fluid in me to be out there much. It was still a good time and you have to spend time with the kids while they still want to...
Now it's time to go change the oil in the truck. It is LONG overdue...
