Upgrading to tow Mirrors
I found a good price on ebay but it says fits 2004 to 2006 Excursions, Why ? What don't they work with 2000 to 2003 ?
I have a 2002 with the non-towing mirrors. They are powered, heated and with turn signal. I am trying upgrade to the towing mirrors w/ power, heat, and signal.

the older models had the round plug and the newer(04+ IIRC) had a thin flat plug...Powerstrokeshop.com includes the adapter with there mirror upgrade kit...you may be able to buy it seperately...i'm not sure if the older trucks had all the features available as the newer style (power/signals/heat)...
