So my newly replaced rear tank is leaking from the fuel sender hole (new o-ring), sender is nice and tight in the mount so wondering if theres any sealent I could just run around the edges to help it seal and hopefully stop the leaking?
the lock ring spun around nice and tight and it's still leaking?
you have to think either the o-ring got pinched and nicked or she just got way too over full.well, the old pickup/sending unit.......maybe you just didn't get that clean enough?
you shouldn't have to,and really don't want to have to,put any sort of sealant here.the o-ring isn't doing it's job.you've just got to figure out why.
