I was reading some other threads one some possible areas my truck could be leaking fuel at. I got this video for you to watch to see if you could possible narrow down where its leaking from. You have to watch the whole video.. it is windy out and I am standing over the engine so it was hard to get a good shot but if you watch all of it you get previews of the fuel leak from time to time, its spraying out. Also there is a photo of when I first discovered the leak.. Its been sitting for a month, ready to get it back on the road. Thanks in advance for any tips!
on mine, that's where the fuel bowl drain is at. maybe a bad o-ring on the fuel drain. or one of the hoses on the bottom of the fuel canister. or a hole corroded the fuel canister. you probably have to take the fuel canister off to find the leak is my guess.

I am hoping its a bad oring..I dont like talking about holes in the fuel canister...That sounds expensive..lol
Oh and to add, If it makes a difference, It does not leak till it gets warmed up... I started it up the other day and I could not find the leak. I let it warm up for a 10 min then it started spraying out.
I would check to make sure the water seperator is closed.. Not saying your stupid but sometimes its obvious like that, If that doesnt fix it i would do as said in previous statement.

Well I might be a bit stupid... not sure where the water seperator is...lol
Well I figured that much..lol... is it near the Fuel bowl drain? I am not familar with these fuel bowls... Only fuel problems I have had are on my IDI.
It is a little yellow tab that points at 6 o'clock shut and 9 o'clock open while looking towards truck.
That is how you drain the fuel bowl correct? So is that the same as the water seperator? If you watch the video you can see that yellow valve is at 6 oclock.
yes the water seperates to the bottom then drains out first.
Ok well that is closed.. Its coming from the bottom of the fuel bowl.. I guess I will have to take it out and investigate all seals etc.... is it hard to get out?
the first time i took mine out it was a little intimidating , but it's not bad at all. i would clean the screen on the side of the fuel bowl while your in there. and check fog pits where the o-ring goes on for the fuel drain and if you replace the fuel lines under the canister get them from the dealership they are heat resistant hoses and they will be the right length and diameter.
