So, i replace ONE battery a couple months ago and now the other wont hold a charge unless i leave the trickle charger on it all night. So i know now that i should replace the batteries as a pair, and i need to know if in a couple months the older battery would kill the newer one? I aint got the cash to buy both at the moment.
When they test batts at the local auto parts store do they use one of those digital cca testers?. Thats what i used on mine because my element load tester only goes to 100 amps. Guess i could drag the carbon pyle tester home from work and use it. Sorry to hi jack tour batt thread brandon.

Depends on the store, but most use a digital tester.
I really like mine.
Carbon pile tests cranking amps and not cold cranking amps like a digital tester.
