I have had my air bag light on for a few months and I just had a chance to have a friend read it with an AE scanner.
It blinks when I start the truck and then goes to steady on after a few min.
The AE scanner gave me a B 1932 code, air bag driver circuit.
I hope is is something simple and not the clock spring in the steering wheel.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
It's telling you there is an open (resistance high) circuit between the driver's side air bag inflator and the SAS module. It can be the inflator, the circuit between (the clock spring) or the SAS itself. Or maybe some incidental connector. I suspect most people put a piece of tape over the light to fix it.
Have you been under the dash lately and messed with any of the wires? I did this a long time ago on my truck and pulled on a wire to tap in to and broke the connector that when to the clockspring. Can't remember how it manifested itself, but I had to have a new one and Ford wouldn't warranty it as I had cut one of the wires.
There's a plug under the seat that I had to unplug and plug back in a few times to clear that same code. I occasionally put something under the seat and I guess it loosens the plug?
Mine started blinkin 32 and was that way for about a year then my cruise control quit. Researched it for a while and seemed to point to clockspring so just went for it and changed it out and problem solved and everything worked. Cost was about 75.00 and an hour of work not a hard fix at all. Don't know if it is your problem or not just thought i would pass on what i know.

Do you have a wright up on how to change the clockspring ?
Getting involved with the airbag scares me.
I did not do a write up on it although should have. I believe I found a write up searching goggle. I to was concerned about the airbag. If I remember right you disconnect the battery for a minimum of 15 minutes then unbolt the airbag lift it up and unplug it and set it aside bottom down so if it were to go off it is not a projectile. I will look for the write up I used when I get home tonight and post it. Unless someone else that knows posts sooner.
