5.4L engine removal - Navigator

Has anyone removed their 5.4L using an engine hoist? I've found quite a few posts about removing the body with a post lift, or pulling the engine out with an overhead crane, but nothing about using a floor hoist. Problem I'm having is the hoist arm doesn't extend long enough to be centered over the engine. I've removed the bumper and am still a few inches short of the hook being centered over the engine. Any suggestions?

Remove the front tires and lower the front end down.

A larger hoist with a longer arm.
