I'm wanting to put ARP studs in my 6.0, I want to do this myself as well. However, I'm running into a road block. There are three ways to do it, lift the cab, remove the engine or perform the work in the bay.
I'd like to remove the engine as the other two options aren't possible or are a major pain.
I found the engine removal procedure on the workshop manual, but it points out some special cherry picker tools that are not cheap. Does anyone have a good workaround using normally available (cheap) tools?
There are eyelets on the motor already that carry its weight on chains. The fuel line tool makes that part of the easier. The motor is a tight fit to remove so have a good helper around.
