Have a 98 EB with LLS wondering if different shocks would "tighten up" the ride. The thing rocks like crazy pulling into my driveway. Any suggestions on type?
I ordered mine from Shox.com for $65 ea including shipping. I've been pretty satisfied with them. They are a bit firmer than OEM, but much more control.
You won't be sorry if you get the HD Bilsteins. Very good control on small or very large (catching air) bumps have 80K miles on my set with 4 corner air and they are still like new. They are guaranteed to last as long as your vehicle.
Hope this helps.
So I place the order with Shox.com and then Chris calls me back and tell me that Bilstien doesn't make them for the front with LLS and he can't find anyone who does. Anybody had any luck with front shocks?
Isn't it true that you only have the LLS air suspension in the rear? Why would you need a different type of shock in the front from what I have? I would check that. BTW, these shocks are packaged individually, so when they have a set (020. Bilstein shocks) on their website that is not a four-pack or anything. They could sell you the fronts and then the rears (0201. Bilstein shocks) for LLS.

tsdrallyer - maybe you can help us out here? You seem to have found a way arround the issue. If I'm correct you say that you have the LLS and Bilstiens all the way arround. How did you do it?
