They are factory installed. I connected to the brown and still nothing from the very start. I assume when people ask if the lights come on, they mean the one on the end of the uplifter switch.
Thanks for everyones help and paitence with trying to walk me through this.

Yes, we're talking about the lights on the switches themselves. Are they all not coming on or just the #4 switch? If they're all not coming on when you turn all the switches on, then check fuse #44. If they all come on except on the #4 switch, then check fuse #2. Both of these fuses are located at the drivers side kick panel fuse box. If you look at your owners manual pages 324-331 you'll see a listing of all the fuses in your vehicle and what they protect, and diagrams showing the location of each of the fuses. If you find a bad fuse and replace it, and your lights on the switches are coming on but your backup lights still aren't working then you need to check your ground for these lights, and make sure you have a good metal to metal contact. If your fuse (#2) checks ok and the light on the switch still isn't coming on but the other switches light up, then there maybe an issue with the relay. If fuse #44 checks ok and none of the lights on the switches still aren't coming on, then I'd check the connectors on the upfitter wiring harness itself to make sure they are both fully seated. There's the one connector on the switches themselves of course, and the other one is a grey one behind the dash way up above the gas pedal along side the firewall, you'll also want to check the ground off the harness to make sure it's making good contact. Also check all the relays in the box by the blunt cut wires and make sure they're well seated. If all the switches light up and you have good metal to metal contact on your ground for the back up lights, then you either have a bad positive wire, or your bulbs on the back up lights are burned out or not making good contact. If after checking all of this, and the switches still don't light up I think I'd be taking it back to the dealer and have them see whats going on. One other thing, are the lights you're installing LED's? If so these have distinct positive and negative wires that if hooked up backwards will result in the lights not working.
Thanks madsonp, I will double check all of these things.
None of the switches light up, and I did get my light that I bought and it does work. I think I missed fuse #44. Let's see what happens.

If fuse 44 is ok then I'd check the ground wire for the upfitter switches, this should come off the wiring harness somewhere close to the relay box under the dash, it's not a long wire so it should be grounded close by, it could have gotten pulled loose, broken, or just not making good contact. You could have pulled it loose when you were connecting up to the blunt end wire. If the ground is good then start checking your 2 harness connections for the switches to make sure they're secure.
Ok, well I have done everything I can at this point. The only thing I can think of, is when my plow was install, they must have messed something up. Of to the dealer is guess, while I have my warranty.
Thanks everyone for the help!!
