Lund Moon Visor (With Clearance Lights)
Does anyone out there know how to wire a visor into the electrical or a 1990 F-150 The 2nd owner of my truck (I'm the 4th) was some dumb kid, and really messed the truck up. Nothing too bad, just minor stuff, some wires, some fuses, some holes drilled in the front bumper. Anyway, he got a Lund Moon Visor with the 5 clearance lights. All the wires never got installed right, and the wires for the lights were hanging down. The kid tried to wire the lights into the fuse box, I assume the lights are supposed to be wired into the light control switch. The Visor also needs to be rewired, The 3rd owner clipped the wires for the lights, and I have no idea as to how to hook the lights together. Any nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've never had one so I dont know for sure but the lights were probably daisy chained together. As for hooking them up to the truck it would be best to hook them up to the parking lights. Personaly I would get behind the light switch and figure out wich one is for the parking lights and wire it inline with that.

This might help. If the truck doesn't have clearance lites on the roof there should be a pigtail from the factory where you can access power. On SD's its on the passenger side kickpanel. I'm not sure where it is on a 150. Try looking there and if not maybe someone else could help locating. If there is clearance lites just tap into them.
