need help with location and removal of icp sensor

early built 04( have 03 motor) under turbo

late built 04 in the passenger valve cover the round sensor

thanx its 03 motor,do u know which way to get to it I removed everything on the top,intake tube,coolant res.,because a friend said to get it from the top. I cant feel anything there.
