I have just recently replaced my 03 6.0 motor with a 04 motor and i am in the process of putting everything back together and i noticed that the icp sensor on my 03 motor was behind the turbo and the 04 was on the left side vavle cover.. since my wiring was set up for the 03 i just put the old sensor onto the new motor.is that fine or is it going to cause a problem??
i mean i got the old sensor to plug in fin and every other sensor went where it was suppose to go the only thing is i had to adjust that sensor? i wouldnt think it should be a problem what do u think?
no i might have worded it wrong.. basically the old motor had that sensor behind the turbo and that was whats the wiring harness was set up for and the new motor just had a plug in that part of the motor so i just took the old sensor out and put it in the new motor.. and btw i heard all this talk about pulling the cab to swap the motor and everyone told me i had to and just so u know i did it by myself without pulling cab lol
