transfer case

hi just joined so im not sure how this works but here we go i have a 96 bronco with a 1356 borg warner transfer case when putting new fluid in do i leave the drain plug in or out?

Take out the drain plug, let it drain. Put the drain plug back in, take out the fill plug, fill til fluid just starts to drip out, put fill plug back in. Ready to go.
